Next week the annual Australian International Furniture Fair descends upon Sydney, bringing with it a flurry of manufacturers and wholesalers for the annual three-day event.

Held at the Sydney Exhibition Centre, as the first buying trade fair on the event calendar, the AIFF is an opportunity to mingle and peruse a range of designs, from Hospitality furniture to lighting and lamps, all the way through to Home Office Furniture and Aged Care Furnishings.

Amongst the festivities is the exhibition of the EDGE, a place for new and emerging furniture designers to present their new products to the Australian market.

Designs are presented in the categories of Commercial, Concept, Student & Green and represnet a cross section of Australia young student talents.

As the central showpiece within the Fair, the EDGE Awards have earned a reputation worthy of attracting leading Australian designers and unearthing emerging talent.

The awards presentation will take place from 11 am on Wednesday 3 February.
