Innerspace has officially inaugurated its stunning new Sydney showroom with a well-received event attended by the design community.
November 22nd, 2023
Innerspace has recently started putting down some serious roots in the Sydney design world, as we reported here. The Australian furniture brand has opened a showroom in an undeniably delightful corner of Paddington that will be the envy of no small number of designers in the city.
The opening was officially marked by an event at the showroom on 31st October. Attracting figures from across the design community including some of our very own team at Indesign.

Slightly more exotically, attendees also included representatives from some of the exciting international brands that Innerspace will be bringing to Sydney, such as Spain-based Gandiablasco, an outdoor furniture brand with strong Mediterranean overtones. Other notable products featured at the showroom include GAN rugs and Diabla outdoor furniture.
“We are lucky to have the owners of GAN, Gandiablasco, Diabla visiting us to help launch the space and new ranges,” says managing director, Jon Miles. “We’re very excited – the building is a bit like our company – mature and full of history but with a modern outlook. It’s dedicated just to us and finally represents our brand in the same way as we are represented elsewhere around the country.”

With the dust settling and the doors now firmly open, the team at Innerspace has been receiving enthusiastic support and lots of positive feedback on the back of the event. The food and drinks on offer certainly contributed to the mood, but it’s ultimately the charm of the space combined with genuine excitement over what the expansion means for Sydney design that made it such a success.
Turnout for the event was also a success and the team at Innerspace continues to field inquiries from attendees and non-attendees alike. In fact, it won’t take much persuasion to get people (back) into the showroom given the characterful building it’s housed in, its beautiful location, and of course the quality of the products on display.
“It definitely represents who we are – friendly, helpful, customer-focused,” adds Miles. “This is the essence of Innerspace – it feels like home when you’re working or relaxing in the space, it really feels special being in there.”
The new showroom is located at 2 Boundary Street, Paddington and is open Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and Saturday 10am-4pm. So, all that’s left is to pay a visit – you won’t regret it, so here’s to more events, fun and inspiration there in the future.
