2021 is a monumental year for Workspace Commercial Furniture. The company will celebrate 110 years of business, whilst simultaneously celebrating 110 years of local Australian manufacturing.
Since its inception in 1911, Workspace has continued to revolutionise the commercial furniture industry to meet the changing trends and needs of clients and the market. Formerly TH Brown Furniture, the company’s furniture pieces have shaped the way consumers and businesses utilise furniture solutions within their sectors.

Workspace Commercial Furniture employs over 150 staff across their South Australian manufacturing facility and with showrooms across Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Brisbane and Canberra, has grown from strength to strength. As one of Australia’s largest diversified commercial furniture manufacturers, Workspace is proactive in ensuring future growth nationally and internationally. All furniture pieces created by the company are both Australian Made and Australian Owned certified, bringing a sense of pride and responsibility to ensure our products and standards meets the highest possible standards.
Workspace has over come significant hurdles within their history, from surviving the Spanish Flu, World War 1, World War 2, multiple economic downturns, and now COVID-19, highlighting its ability to rise above and beyond various adversities to provide the wider public with high quality commercial furniture that rises beyond tragedy and uncertainty.

The company continues to meet the changing needs and demands within the commercial, educational, hospitality, health, aged care and accommodation segments and is a preferred supplier with many local, state and federal governments for furniture and project-based solutions. With showrooms across the nation and personalized fleet of trucks, Workspace has the experience and capability to undertake projects of any size both nationally and internationally.
