The security design experts at the Australian Trellis Door Company (ATDC) recently installed a suit of their high quality, commercial grade stackable doors to a large commercial and retail project at South Village, Kirrawee in Sydney’s Sutherland Shire.
When architectural firm Turner Studio and project manager Deicorp were working on the project, they knew security was paramount. When the commercial precinct was closed, the interior of the building needed to be secure, but this security could not come as a cost of the aesthetics of the spaces in the daylight hours.
It was ATDC’s 300mm stackable doors that were the solution to this problem. Finished in a stylish special Interpon Charcoal Matt powdercoat, these perforated mesh infill doors were used to cover two shopping centre entries at the South Village project. Thanks to their large size of 15 metres wide and four metres high, the stackable doors were able to fuller cover the very large expanses of the stores.

ATDC’s unique up/down locking mechanisms work to achieving a seamless lock up and unlock procedure for the client, and alleviate the need for any floor track to achieve lock up.
