A principle demonstration of this is the recent release of the Eames’ landmark Moulded Plastic Chair in timber.   Replacing the colourful plastic shell that sits elegantly atop myriad base options, the new shell uses timber and a new 3D veneer technology that achieves the curved and sinuous aesthetic that distinguishes the Eames moulded chair collection.
