Food Wine + Design

Food Wine + Design

The first quarterly event to highlight excellence in food, wine and design was held at Corporate Culture in Sydney last week.

Collaboration, giving, growth and living are the pillars holding up the annual FOOD WINE and DESIGN event – showcasing excellence in all three areas.

The quarterly event featured good food, an education in wine tasting, exposure to leading design and an opportunity to give back to the more deserving in our communities.

This year’s first course was very successfully held on November 11, meeting its target to raise funds for the St Edmunds School Wish List- resulting in a grand total of $17,676.00.

The event is held by commercial interiors company – Response Group Australia, in collaboration with their partners including, Blond Catering for Food, Stuart MacGill for Wine, Marc Schamburg and one8one7 for Design along with Corporate Culture and FDC.

The first course was aimed to introduce the concept of FOOD WINE and DESIGN to the industry and the community. All proceeds and donations of the event proudly went to purchasing much needed items from the St Edmunds School Wish List.

Indesign Publishing is a proud media partner of the event and looking forward to the second course in March 2010.

Next year’s project will donate funds to The Westmead Children’s Hospital for ‘Shanti’s Bathroom’- a necessary renovation of bathroom facilities to support the medical requirements of a young girl with VACTERL Syndrome, who has had over 40 procedures.
