For KOHLER, experience and expression makes the perfect combination for timeless and impactful design. Making its Australian debut next month, KOHLER Design Forum examines humanity’s relationship and mindset in immersive, sensorial and experiential spaces for the 21st century.
Following publication, the escalating crisis of COVID-19 (Corona Virus) has forced Kohler to postpone the Kohler Design Forum speaker event until further notice. An announcement as to the time, venue and speaker line-up will be made at a later date.
The global quest for a deeply luxurious, rejuvenating self-care experience continues to set new goals and reach greater heights. We want spaces that are immersive; that delight our senses; that are meaningful.
Exploring the full breadth of what ‘Experiential Luxury’ means today is the Kohler Design Forum, which makes its Australian debut in Melbourne next month. The Forum is rooted in an examination of the collective mindset – the users’ needs for meaningful experiences through immersive innovations and elements and delves into the many facets of truly rich and dynamic environments.
“Experiential Luxury invites people into a place that seeks to delight all our senses – where meaningful design, technology, colour, pattern and material are inextricable,” says Erin Lilly, KOHLER Design Studio Manager.
But what does this mean in terms of design? How does it translate to products, form and function. And how do we achieve this sustainably? What is the real future of such dynamic environments?
Connecting KOHLER’s passion for life-elevating design with its global design community, the KOHLER Design Forum is, at heart, about exploring the future and impact of design, providing a platform for the design and architecture industries worldwide to interrogate ideas together.
