Woodmark has recently set up shop with a new showroom in China.
November 1st, 2010
The furniture manufacturer’s new Chinese showroom is a renovated mixed-use warehouse in Shanghai overlooking the Suzhou Creek.
Enclave, the architects responsible for the restorations, converted the building for the purpose of office and commercial use, with sustainability being an important aspect of the project.
The design, which incorporates high ceilings, factory doors and industrial lighting, all pay tribute to the building’s industrial, Bauhaus heritage.
Founded by Arne Christiansen in 1986, Woodmark is a family-owned company, which produced Danish and Australian designed furniture.
