Germany’s prowess in engineering is indisputable and its precision in manufacturing is second to none. Likewise, Villeroy & Boch shares this dedication to excellence and inventive spirit in creating better products that improve people’s lives. Its diverse range of bathroom and wellness products are testament to that – transforming functional spaces into personal well-being oases.
Villeroy & Boch’s new super-silent thermostat taps from its UNIVERSAL taps and fitting series deliver delightful bathing and showering experience for all. With an exceptionally quiet water flow – noise class rating of one – the thermostat taps are ideal for apartment dwellers.

Putting comfort and safety a priority, Villeroy & Boch’s thermostat taps ensure precise temperature control with just one touch and can be operated easily and safely even by children. The integrated scald protection kicks in when the water temperature reaches 38°C and the new CoolTap technology stops the thermostat body from overheating. These useful features offer greater protection from accidental scalding. To save energy, there is also the option of limiting the maximum temperature to 43°C or 47°C.
Indeed, the sleek and timeless design belies the technology within. To coordinate beautifully in any bathroom environment, the thermostat taps come in a slimline round version for splash-free water flow and a square version. The latter features an Easy Clean function and is protected from limescale deposits. Depending on the user’s needs, both models are available as a shower thermostat and a bath/shower thermostat that can be switched from shower head to bath inlet simply by turning the handle.

For maximum longevity, the thermostat taps are elegantly crafted using high quality brass and is even subjected to 200-hour salt water test for corrosion resistance. This commitment to outstanding quality and innovation is what Villeroy & Boch has stood for since 1748.
Villeroy & Boch’s new super-silent thermostat taps from its UNIVERSAL taps and fitting series is available from 2023 onwards.
