Woven Image’s iPhone and iPad app was a big winner at the 2011 Australian Mobile Awards, announced last week.
September 12th, 2011
Late last year Indesignlive.com brought you the news of Woven Image’s app for iPhone and iPad, an interface for searching and locating Woven Image products from the company’s huge database.
The app was a significant project for Woven Image, the result of collaborations with architects and designers to develop a tool that was easy to use, with maximum functionality. It was recently recognised at the 2011 Australian Mobile Awards, announced on 8 September, where Woven Image walked away with 2 awards.
The app was awarded best in the category ’In Field Services’, for applications developed to aid and facilitate organisations requiring mobility while out of the office, and Best App Overall for IOS Platforms, beating out over 100 apps submitted for the category.
The jury, consisting of industry professionals, praised the app for its functionality, usability and overall look and feel, with links to Facebook, video content and fast product portfolio.
Congratulations to Woven Image for their win!
