Kaynemaile’s custom meshing
Published

Backed by over 60 years of material science Kaynemaile’s architectural polycarbonate mesh is a patented, world-leading innovation to create, divide and protect buildings, inside and out.
Kaynemaile is more than just a manufacturer – the brand’s patented seamless mesh is made of an advanced polycarbonate and has been a favourite of architects around the globe since its inception on the New Zealand set of the Lord of the Rings film trilogy.
Made to any height or width with no distracting joins or gaps, the chainmail-inspired mesh is made from the highest performing thermoplastic, an extremely robust and impact resistant material. Weighing just three kilograms per square metre, the mesh makes a perfect choice where a low load is important, and this lightweight nature also means handling on site is a breeze.
The Kaynemaile team have created a standard product range making it easy to specify, order and install, though the designers and engineers know not all projects are standard and offer a custom design solution service, should it be needed. Lightweight, fire resistant and unbeatable on strength; the creative possibilities are unequalled.
