ONE-CU Interior Design Lab renders doing business with Vanke Property an enriching experience when at Guanhu Sales Center in Guiyang, China.

In the world of sales, there is much to be said about those who ‘show’ rather than ‘tell’. So, it only seems fitting that a sales center for one of China’s most preeminent residential property developers should too, take this cue. ONE-CU Interior Design Lab has designed Vanke Property’s new Guanhu Sales Center, in Guiyang, China, to do precisely that.
Before you start to envision a glorified showhome, let it be known that Guanhu Sales Center is decidedly more refined. Less focused on material finishes and more so on capturing the spirit of place and experiential procession, the ONE-CU designed showspace doesn’t just facilitate the sales pitch between Vanke and prospective property buyers, it harmonises with it.

Embedded in the mountainous landscape of China’s Guizhou province and sheltered from the bustling metropolis of downtown Guiyang, the new Vanke Property sales center is situated on a plot that boasts enchanting lake views. Leaning into the natural beauty of the milieu, the genesis of ONE-CU’s design was to balance the allure of the landscape with the immersive and artistic interior scenes of the built volume. The cumulative experience is one enriched by an effortless artistic ambience and oneness with nature.
In terms of its programme and layout, Guanhu Sales Center has been masterfully planned by ONE-CU Interior Design Lab to follow the flow of a sale. The frontend of the floorplan comprises the reception foyer, media room, brand display area, and property model display area, setting the scene for Vanke to put on an engaging spiel. A water bar at the center of the design creates space to take a break from shoptalk, before getting down to business.

The latter half of the programme is where the deals get sealed. Against a backdrop of breathtaking scenery framed by a wall of floor-to-ceiling windows, a burst of elegantly furnished breakout spaces creates space for negotiations between Vanke and client to commence. A rotund sunken lounge dominates the pointy-end of the sales space, reserved to facilitate more in-depth negotiations. Finally, a contract-signing area, payment area, VIP room and washroom amenities complete the programme and, with it, the Vanke Property customer experience.
Characterised by a sophisticated, minimalist aesthetic, the Guanhu Sales Center in Guiyang, China, designed by ONE-CU Interior Design Lab, sets a tranquil and holistic scene for visitors to do business with Vanke Property. All in all, it conveys a lifestyle where people can stroll around mountain shades; retreat from the city hustle; and coexist harmoniously with nature. Guanhu Sales Center provides a pure environment, guiding modern urbanites to explore the ideal living experiences in their mind.
