In designing the new Teleflex Sydney headquarters, WMK had to create a space that reflected not only the company’s global brand identity, but also channeled Australian culture.

For Teleflex, the new Sydney headquarters, had to be engaging, innovative, and modern while not losing a sense of warmth. As a major product supplier in the medical industry, Teleflex wanted its new space to embody a medical feel, without feeling isolating or sterile. Likewise, the new office was to fall into trend with modern office design and activity-based working.

In answer to this brief, the WMK team created a series collaborative zones within a single floor plate through innovative use of colour, texture, and geometric patterns. This design offers the Teleflex team members a mix of flexible, activity-based workspaces and interactive hubs, which have been designed to utilise technology to improve communication and workplace efficiency.

The new Sydney HQ for Teleflex’s Australian operations gives employees a variety of collaborative work options and capturing the brand’s core values, representing its international identity.

The new workplace offers flexibility and ultimately creates a working environment that is energetic and fun, but retains the cleanliness of a hospital environment without the sterility of such a space.
