Pedrali and stationery brand Moleskine have teamed up for a special one off literary Café in Milan.
June 1st, 2017
The new Moleskine Café, in Corso Garibaldi 65, in the heart of the Brera design district in Milan, is the classic literary café, reinterpreted in a contemporary style – a brand new format that imbues its visitors with energy to boost creativity, or serve as well as space for deep thoughts and relaxation.
The sofa area in the mezzanine floor is ideal for reading, working and quiet conversations, while a brisk bar on the ground floor, home to energizing coffee, space for art shows, talks, workshops, and more. In the outdoor area, tables open up to life flowing in the streets.
The Pedrali products in the literary cafe perfectly blend in a space marked by clean and essential lines, together with a complete chromatic palette of neutral colours – recalling the pages of a Moleskine notebook.
The furniture throughout, such as the chairs, lounge chairs and wooden bar-stools, are taken from the Nemea and Malmö collections, designed by Cazzaniga-Mandelli-Pagliarulo, and work in harmony with the paired Laja tables and Malmö coffee tables.
The bright colours of the Nolita steel chairs collection, matched with the white Ypsilon tables, provide the outdoor area with a lively sunny touch.
Pedrali is Italian furniture design. With a legacy built on collections the result of careful and accurate research and design history, it’s no surprise that this Moleskine Café is a success that it is.
