CBA’s new location at Sydney’s Darling Walk features concepts and branding from BrandCulture.

Commonwealth Bank’s new branch at Sydney’s upgraded Darling Harbour – with interiors by Davenport Campbell and architect Tim Bisario – needed a strong branded environment that reflected CBA’s core values.

The branch forms part of the greater Commonwealth Bank Place, with new CBA offices designed by Francis-Jones Morehen Thorp (FJMT), incorporating various segments of the company.

BrandCulture used illuminated environmental graphics to communicate the brand and welcome customers into the new branch, in line with the tone of the CBA brand, which is friendly and customer-focused.

CBA’s immediately recognisable logo is a focal point; on leaving the space, customers are farewelled by the logo in perspective on a clean black background.

BrandCulture were also responsible for designing the new Foreign Exchange style seen on the ATM at the entry. This design will now become part of CBA’s brand collateral.
