“Woods Bagot worked in close consultation with us, as the client, to create a new workplace that celebrates our history, embraces sustainability and enables an increased level of interaction between staff and clients,” said Allan Mason, ARUP Principal and Perth office leader.
ARUP’s story was told throughout the interior by a series of graphics – a timeline of journal covers, stylised maps and an outline of past projects.
Sustainable materials were chosen wherever possible, with environmental responsibility a driving factor throughout the design process.
Interactive technology within the workplace allows remote access, knowledge sharing and enhanced connectivity with colleagues around the world – essential to ARUP’s global nature.
Open shared workspaces and cleverly integrated breakout areas allow flexible collaborative work styles.
Ken Anderson, Senior Associate, Woods Bagot said “The workplace has been designed to foster collaboration, enhance partnerships with clients and collaborators, promote creative work styles and support ARUP’s future strategic goals and objectives, whilst paying homage to their rich history.”
