Zip HydroTap is the perfect appliance for offices, kitchens, tearooms and break-out areas. Now your clients, visitors and staff can experience the convenience of instant boiling and chilled filtered water from a single tap whenever they choose.
The patented Zip HydroTap is the world leader in instant boiling filtered water – the combination of unique design and superior technology ensures instant boiling water at your fingertips in the most cost-effective and energy efficient way:
• Costs less than 15 cents per day to dispense both boiling and chilled water in an instant.
• Less energy than a traditional 50 watt light globe* and is up to 40% more efficient than a kettle.
• Electronic smart technology offering two efficient power-saving timer options. A 24 hour clock that can power the unit down and back up at pre-set times and an automatic sleep mode. In sleep mode, if no water has been drawn for a specified time (2 or 4 hours), the HydroTap will power down to conserve energy; returning to full power at the touch of the tap.
• Air-cooled system means no water wastage compared to competitor models, one of which was found to be capable of dumping some 17 litres of water down the drain when in standby mode over a 24 hour period – equivalent to wasting 6,205 litres of drinkable water each year.
• Fully insulated under-sink operating system incorporates excellent temperature retention properties which apply to both boiling and chilled water storage. This effectively minimises energy loss and ensures water temperatures are contained within 1oC of boiling and between 5-10oC for chilled water.
