Designed by Yellow Diva, the Staple Stool combines an elegant simplicity in its form with a graphic injection of colour, resulting in a functional seat with inspired stature.
November 21st, 2019
Available from Zenith Interiors, the new Staple Stool from the Yellow Diva design house is a new approach to functional, utilitarian seating.
The Staple tops are made from premium Finnish birch plywood with crossgrain veneers pre-finished with a clear transparent melamine film to provide a tough hard-wearing surface. The top is then finished with an inlaid X detail that adds a pop of colour along with the matching powder coated leg frames.
Staple stools are available in three heights – low, mid and high, with the low stool stackable up to 6 high for easy storage, and the mid and high stools coming with a charming matching footrest.
Not only a functional and stylish chair, the Staple Stool is also a hardwearing and long-lasting stool, thanks to the transparent melamine film coating the plywood top. Fit outs like offices, cafes, bars or break-out spaces are perfect projects for this quirky but utilitarian stool.
The Staple Stool’s launch comes as Yellow Diva is also celebrating 10 years of its WB Stool with the launch of new block colour options.
The WB Stool includes an indoor and outdoor range of stools and seat benches, also available in three heights. After a decade of charming indoor spaces across the country, the stools’ new colour block option sees the seat and legs matching each other for a more uniform yet eye-catching approach.
Yellow Diva is synonymous with bold, inspired design. The studio has been producing unique locally-made furniture, lighting and accessories for creative clients for over two decades. After founding in London in the mid ’90s, the brand rose to popular critical acclaim from both designers and design lovers. In 2008, the team decided Melbourne would be their home, and since then have been a proud pillar of locally made, inspired furniture.
The new Staple Stool and WB Stool, like all of Yellow Diva’s furniture, is made in Melbourne and available Australia-wide through Zenith Interiors.
