The name “nunc” translates directly to “now” in Latin; an efficient summary of the brand’s forward-thinking philosophy. Operating in the liminal space between tradition, progress and sustainability, nunc offers a fresh perspective that combines Croatian ornamental tradition with innovation, sustainability and contemporary aesthetics.
Drawing inspiration from the abundant natural resources of its home in Slavonia, Đakovo, nunc designs feature a characteristic contrast between logical geometric forms and passionate, warm materials. Slavonia’s legendary timber serves as the canvas for many of nunc’s designs, with the brand holding ISO certifications for quality, environmental care, and safety, as well as an FSC certificate recognising its commitment to responsible forest management.
The nunc collection is on display and available to view in ducksnest.’s Melbourne showroom, offering a playfully artistic approach to the combination of steel and natural timber across a variety of chairs, stools, lounges, side tables and poufs. Fluid lines and geometric forms create a timeless fusion of form and function across the unique pieces of this offering: we take you through our top picks.

Undeniably timeless and packed with personality, nunc stools are statement pieces with a whole lot to say.
Red Dot Award Winner 2023, the nunc Cot Timber Stool combines classic materials with subtle minimalist design. Featuring captivating timber legs and a prominent metal footrest, the timber stool offers a sturdy and comfortable seating solution for dynamic living which responds to ideas and inspiration.
The BigSee Award Winner nunc Cot Metal Stool is characterised by its harmoniously interwoven metal structure and a curved, comfortable seat which features a dynamic silhouette ideal for creative living and spur-of-the-moment inspirations.

Chairs by nunc are always an inexhaustible design delight.
The nunc Bolta Chair, BigSee Award Winner 2019, is a captivating character piece with a distinctive personality framed by its archetypal silhouette. Its wing-shaped backrest seems to invite a hug, elegantly following the soft curves of the human body to provide ultimate support.
The nunc Nauvik Chair seamlessly fuses modern aesthetics and comfort. A soft, rounded design in solid wood with sleek metal accents and a range of upholstery options form a chair that offers timeless style and boundless relaxation to design enthusiasts.
The nunc Bolta Lounge is a thoughtful extension of the Bolta chair collection offering laid-back comfort with its wing-shaped, reclined backrest and seating options in Oak veneer, American walnut, matt acrylic varnish, natural oil, oak black stained, or lacquered oak.

Nunc side tables provide the ultimate flexibility, approaching commercial and residential spaces with a geographic edge.
Inspired by archipelago islands, the fluid Skupa collection of side tables and poufs are designed to adapt to shifting environments. A combination of gentle and harsh elements creates dynamic visuals reminiscent of the harsh beauty of their geographic inspiration. Their comfortable curves and soft upholstery provide maximum comfort, with moulded plywood, oak veneer or American walnut side tables adding ergonomic convenience.
The nunc Kosir Side Table is a playful yet secure metal table with a minimalistic 90-degree angle silhouette ideal for compact spaces. Available in three sizes, the nunc Ruvo Side Table features intertwining metal legs supporting surfaces made of solid oak, medium-density fibreboard, or compact laminate to create a versatile low table.
