Tipo is a high density multi-purpose stacking chair with a choice of different backs and seat options.

The aesthetic, comfort and functionality of the amazingly light weight Tipo mesh stacking chair sets a new direction in the evolution of stacking chairs.

Weighing from only 3.5kg, Tipo is available with or without arms on a sled base with a linking device or 4 legs. It has the ability to stack 40 units high on its dolly and available on glides or castors with optional writing tablet and upholstered seat pad. The collection also includes stools on a sled base with optional upholstered seat pad and a Nesting chair on castors that can be stacked horizontally by folding the seat. Optional A3 writing tablet is also available for the Nesting chair. The aesthetics, comfort and functionality of the light weight Tipo range is created through a combination of a waterfall mesh seat to prevent pressure points, a flexible back and a torsion bar frame that gives clear access for your legs beneath the seat. The integrated linking device in the sled base avoids the need for additional components. Manufactured in Japan by Axona Aichi, the Tipo chair is an eco-friendly product using recycled materials. All components are recyclable with simple disassembly into each material type.
