FLAMEBLOCK® FRMDF

Flameblock Fire Retardant MDF is fire retardant all the way through, and comes in natural and black colours. In the raw and painted form it is certified to reach Fire Hazard Group 2 for interior walls and ceiling. It also reaches Fire Hazard Group 2 with all veneers of density up to 755kg/m3 (such as American Oak, American Walnut, Tasmanian Oak and Victorian Ash). 

All Briggs Fire Hazard Group Number tests and assessments are done according to AS 5637 using ISO 9705 Room Burn Tests, as required by the Australian National Construction Code (NCC) 2019. All FLAMEBLOCK FRMDF is PEFC™ certified for sustainability.
