Indesign Media is aware of recent reports raising serious concerns about Australian architectural photographer Derek Swalwell. We extend our concern and solidarity to victims and their families.
We have reviewed material associated with Swalwell across Architecture & Design, Habitus and Indesign, and, in the immediate term, will leave this material as published online. These photographs form part of the visual record for many architectural and design practices, and their removal would directly affect the representation of those projects rather than the individual responsible for capturing them.
However, we encourage any practice or relevant party that wishes to discuss or reassess the imagery associated with their work to reach out to us at editor@indesignlive.com.
