With the INDE.Summit and the 2022 INDE.Awards Gala taking off this week, it’s going to be a wonderful time to learn and celebrate the best of our region’s architecture and design.

The INDE.Summit, taking place tomorrow, 3 August, starts the proceedings as a virtual, all-day event. This includes four sessions moderated by outstanding practitioners and featuring diverse panels that comprise expert architects and designers from across the region. Each session will delve into the vital subjects that confront the design community today, and will explore connection, community and Country through the past, present and future of vital aspects of design.
The INDE.Summit will open with a keynote address from Dr Davina Jackson and the day will close with an interview with Kaare Krokene, Partner and Managing Director of Snøhetta Australasia. There will also be four product insight sessions presenting the latest information on product design, technology and business.
In the panel sessions, hear from such luminaries as Sarah Bader (Gensler), Abin Chaudhuri (Abin Design Studio), Pablo Albani (GroupGSA), Lee Chin-Wei (Bio-architecture Formosana), Adam Haddow (SJB), Jade Kake (Matakohe Architecture + Urbanism), Kirsten Bauer (ASPECT Studio) Chan Ee Mun (WOHA), T’iafelelea’I Carinnya Feaunati (Designgroup Stapleton Elliott) and so many more.

As the only architecture and design awards that encompasses our region, the INDEs is unique and on 4 August we will showcase the Indo-Pacific and place its design on the local, regional and global stages.
