The sustainable choice: Sustainable Living Fabrics

Sustainable Living Fabrics have been firm leaders in the contract wool furnishing market for over 47 years, supplying the design industry with an environmentally sustainable choice of fabrics that are proudly Australian designed and manufactured.

Sustainable Living Fabrics is an Australian authority on sustainable wool furnishings. With over 40 years of experience, Sustainable Living Fabrics have designed and supplied heavy duty commercial upholstery and screen fabrics made from Australian wool to the design industry, with their range manufactured exclusively in Victoria.

They have been instrumental to bringing attention to the fibre and underlining its uses in the design industry and its role in the sustainable design market. Through their network of relationships spanning architects, designers and specifiers in the design industry, Sustainable Living Fabrics have highlighted Australian wool’s position as the ultimate natural fibre and premier fabric in sustainable furnishings.

Sustainable Living Fabrics have continually focussed on the development of their range, regularly introducing new colour palettes and trend-focussed ranges, while maintaining the quality and durability of their products and popular ranges. With each range they shine a spotlight on the boundless potential and extraordinary versatility of design’s finest fibre.

“We have an in-house design team working on development of new fabric designs, colour schemes and research into colour forecasting and trends,” explains Sustainable Living Fabrics, whose goal it is to bring Australian manufactured and Australian wool to the world stage. “Not only are we staying on top of current trends but we are dipping into our 40+ year archive of fabric designs, to reinvigorate the image of Australian wool.”

Sustainable Living Fabrics supports a broad range of architects, designers and specifiers in the pursuit of furnishing projects with environmentally conscious fabrics.
