The Sky Experience From CoeLux

Italian artificial lighting CoeLux uses nanotechnology optical system that reproduces the effect of natural sunlight and visual appearance of the sky, convincingly. Now available in Singapore!

Do you notice anything strange in the image below?

No? Neither do we. The room looks well-lit and comfortable.

But you may be surprised to learn that the light streaming from above is not natural sunlight– it’s from the CoeLux systems.

CoeLux is a lighting system that reproduces the effect of natural sunlight with a clear deep blue sky.

Produced by an Italian company of the same name, CoeLux combines three elements to achieve the amazing effect.

A cutting edge LED technology reproduces the sunlight’s spectrum, direction and brightness. An ingenious optical system reproduces the blue sky effect while a millimetre-thick nano-structured material that recreates the Rayleigh scattering process renders the light and colour elements to appear natural together.

Various studies have concluded that having a connection to the outdoors is good for the inhabitant of a built environment. In the case of completely enclosed or subterranean spaces, CoeLux may very well be the next best thing.

In Singapore, CoeLux is available from P5 Studio.
