On April 27, Ferretti Group introduced the new Custom Line Navetta 30 to an international Zoom gathering from Hong Kong, Japan, Italy, Malaysia, Singapore and Australia.
This exceptional yacht has been developed to showcase original and expert design with the exterior created by Filippo Salvetti and interior designed by Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel (ACPV).
Stefano de Vivo, Chief Commercial Officer of Ferretti Group introduced the stunning new yacht to the assembled group and commented, “The new Navetta 30 takes us into a new dimension in design. Due to the huge success enjoyed by the new Navetta generation, we want every new project to have the sensational verve of a masterpiece. The Navetta 30 meets this requirement and takes a stunning step forward in the quest to offer Owners and their guests incomparable well-being”.
The Custom Line Navetta 30 is 28.43 metres in length with a beam of 7.3 metres and is the by-product of a partnership between the Ferretti Group’s Strategic Product Committee, headed by engineer Piero Ferrari, and its Engineering Department.

The celebrated nautical designer Filippo Salvetti created a new design for the hull incorporating black lines that help visually extend the structure forward and there are innovative exterior features such as large glazed windows in the hull and superstructure. Deck heights are more than two metres high with spacious areas forward and aft for dining and relaxing. With three decks (unprecedented for a yacht of this length) the superior amenities include a full beam Owners suite and lounge situated on the main deck, an additional four VIP cabins and crew area on the lower deck and dining and lounge areas on the upper deck. There is also access to the integrated bridge, and for additional comfort, guests can enjoy the benefits of an exceptionally large sundeck.
“The Custom Line displacement range has been expanded by the addition of the new Navetta 30, which blends generous volumes with an attractive, graceful design whose classic charms never grow old. It might have the capabilities of a ship, but it is full of harmoniously balanced visual appeal. It was essential to find the right balance between the hull and the superstructure and emphasise the way the external lines stretch out horizontally in order to add a little vivacious verve to this distinctive, complex creation”, stated architect Filippo Salvetti.

Collaboration with world-renowned designers Antonio Citterio and Patricia Viel ensured that the project is unprecedented in its refinement. ACPV has re-imagined the traditional idea of maritime style, creating an exclusive interior with two options – a textured more sporty mood and a contemporary timber aesthetic. Potential buyers have the opportunity to order either of the designs, or even a combination of both, and this extends the possibility of a truly individual interior.
The textured mood interior features curved lines on furniture and window frames and the use of teak timber. Each design includes carbon detailing and surfaces of quartz fibre combined with fibreglass to create customised textures, elegant lacquer and fabrics with ultramarine blue stripes. Expertly crafted bespoke built-in furniture made from natural leather, solid wood and plywood have also been incorporated to showcase finesse and luxury. Furniture within the interior includes many of Antonio Citterio’s iconic pieces and every detail has been customised to present a totally integrated and resolved project.

As the Navetta range is the smallest in the Custom Line offering, the focus for the designers of the Navetta 30 was to create a generosity of space that utilised all volumes and surfaces available. Citterio and Viel worked collaboratively with Salvetti to achieve this and the result is an outstanding product that will re-define the Navetta experience.
As a design, the Navetta 30 is unparalleled. It is ideal for traveling long distances, has a low fuel consumption and presents excellent performance. With a top speed of 14 knots and a transatlantic range of 2,150 nautical miles, this is certainly the way to travel and is a beacon of design, comfort and luxury.
