LINAK® releases FY 2024/25 ESG Report highlighting progress toward long‑term sustainability ambitions
LINAK announces the release of its Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Report for the 2024/25 fiscal year, marking another year of progress toward the company’s long‑term sustainability ambitions. Based on decades of responsible manufacturing, thoughtful innovation, and a strong people‑first culture, the new report outlines how LINAK continues to strengthen the foundation of its global organisation while working to reduce its environmental impact.
Allan Secher Boye, CCO & Executive Vice President, emphasised the company’s longstanding commitment to responsible growth:
“LINAK is a family-owned company with a history of more than 100 years. For many years, sustainability has been rooted in our mission to improve lives responsibly. But we also recognise that sustainability is a challenge no one can solve alone, which is why we work closely with our customers and suppliers to reduce carbon emissions and minimise our overall environmental impact.”

Pursuing our ambitions
Throughout FY 2024/25, LINAK continued its work to reduce emissions and transition toward certified, renewable energy. Key achievements included:
28.1% reduction in scope 1 and 2 emissions. This reduction was driven largely by increased use of Guarantees of Origin (GOs) and Renewable Energy Certificates (RECs), supporting the transition of LINAK facilities toward certified renewable energy while operational efficiencies continued to improve globally.
Progress toward 100% certified renewable energy. By the end of the fiscal year, four out of six LINAK production and warehouse facilities operated fully on certified renewable energy. The remaining two facilities are expected to transition in the upcoming fiscal year, reflecting the planned shift toward a lower‑carbon future.
These milestones reflect more than operational gains – they indicate the continued progress of LINAK along the sustainability path it has set.

Empowering a skilled and growing workforce
LINAK attributes its progress to the expertise, dedication, and continuity of its employees, reinforced by a global work culture centred on growth, development, and long-term collaboration.
A highly experienced workforce
Employees across the company’s global organisation average 10 years of seniority, reflecting a deep institutional knowledge that supports the company’s innovation and customer relationships.
Investment in future leaders
LINAK expanded its early‑career and educational partnerships, welcoming more than 170 students and programme participants in FY 2024/25.
Through hands-on learning opportunities across its facilities, the company is developing new talent, broadening competencies, and building pathways for the next generation of professionals.
A future built on responsibility
The FY 2024/25 ESG Report outlines how LINAK continues to advance its sustainability initiatives while maintaining a balanced and responsible approach to development. Looking ahead, the company will continue to build on this year’s results and focus on the initiatives already underway.
The company’s mission remains unchanged: to improve lives around the world through its products. This report shows how the company is moving forward – responsibly, thoughtfully, and with long-term impact in mind.
