Founded by former architect Caroline Olah and former Googler Andrew Olah in early 2013, Reddie manufactures handmade, ethically sourced furniture.
As a former commercial designer, Caroline and her team have created a collection derived from the challenges designers face when specifying furniture. Caroline found when designing for commercial clients, often a product she liked didn’t come with the option to change size or colour, and customising was always a time-consuming and costly process. As a result, she and the Reddie team created a collection of minimalist and timeless pieces that you can customise over 1000 ways, in both size and material, thus resulting in a unique product that fits your project perfectly.
Their collection ranges from tables, seating, storage, occasional and lighting. Reddie’s products come in 4 unique lines: the beachy and monolithic “Boxy Bob”, the slick and sophisticated “Simple Suzy”, the classical and traditional “Vintage Vinny”, and the fun and quirky “Wire Willy”.
Each product is handmade by their in-house master craftsmen in Indonesia using traditional Danish woodworking techniques. Their factory consists, of metal, marble, leather, upholstery, and solid wood workshop – all housed under the one production location so the highest quality is ensured. As the lines between residential and commercial design are blurred, Reddie offers an element of hand-made craftsmen-ship mixed with a commercial aesthetic.
The brand aims for Reddie to be “your one stop shop for your furniture essentials”. Minimalist, hand-made quality products that are easy to customize yet last.
