The technical qualities harnessed by Silent Gliss for The Collection include eco friendly fabrics
The Collection from Silent Gliss features fabrics with groundbreaking technical qualities – from odour removal and black out fabrics to sound removal and fabrics with antibacterial properties. The Collection also features three particularly eco-friendly fabrics.
Newlife is the epitome of sustainability – it’s made 100% from recycled PET bottles. It’s also flame retardant, and suitable for Roller Blinds, Curtains, Panels and Roman Blinds. Now, recycled plastic bottles are being transformed into fibre produced for the home furnishings and apparel industries, so it’s no surprise that Newlife is available in two transparencies with three colours each. It’s the perfect option for those interested in protecting the environment.
Safescreen is an environmentally friendly PVC-free screen. It meets the strictest requirements regarding resistance to fire, smoke emissions and toxicity, yet it’s also Greenguard certified and – to keep the indoor environment at its best for human activity – it’s also antibacterial. Safescreen is available with a metalised backing.
Ecoscreen is a polyester fabric with screening characteristics. Its special two-fibre weaving gives it a white backing that optimises energy efficiency – and also creates a lovely external view. Ecoscreen is PVC-free, lead-free and formaldehyde-free. It’s also fully recyclable.
Silent Gliss have truly raised the bar with The Collection. Their eco friendly fabrics provide a good choice – for a good future.
