Dine In Design

Huset’s newest arrival, the Jutland Natural Oak Dining Table, echoes all the timeless elegance of Danish design, but with distinctive contemporary flair.

Huset is known for being the designer’s design destination. And even with the most peremptory glance at their catalogue of fine furnishings, it’s no surprise why. Their latest favour for the design-savvy – the Jutland Natural Solid Oak Extendable Dining Table by Mads K. Johansen – is an elegant demonstration of the symmetry and grace that distinguishes timeless Danish design. Tempting even the most in-the-know design chasers, the Jutland Natural Oak Extendable Dining Table echoes, in its cultivated refinement, both the luxurious and valiant elements of contemporary architecture.

Manufactured by TON (the European factory that has specialised in fine furniture for generations) the Jutland’s silken solid European oak makes every piece an inimitable original. Determined by the anatomical structure of the wood, its grain, annual growth cycles, pith rays, harvesting and cutting techniques, colour and lustre, each table carries an intimate private history and exudes persona. The production process ends with the lacquering stage where the full diligence of TON’s renowned team is obvious in the loving attention to detail.

Now with the new extendable modifications, the Jutland Natural Solid Oak Dining Table permits entertaining to be a grand, ceremonious affair. From a standard table length of 200cm to 260cm, the seating arrangements grow from a comfortable eight to an equally comfortable party of 10. Without a doubt, the Jutland Natural Oak Dining Table is the perfect piece for the entertaining and aesthetic satisfaction we all deserve. Time will not tire the Jutland Natural Oak Dining Table, nor will it date. After all, elegance is eternal.
