Beautiful Surfaces That Are Kind to the Environment

In additional to its beauty and durability, the properties of Staron mean it is also gentle on the environment.

Staron Solid Surfaces is is comprised of a natural mineral derived from bauxite ore and blended with pure acrylic resin, resulting in one of the world’s premium surface material. Staron is a surface solution suitable for endless applications in a commercial or residential project. With a seamless finish and a range of over 80 colours to select from, Staron is not only aesthetically but functionally pleasing. Non-porous in nature, no stain can penetrate into the material – providing a durable surface that is easy to maintain.

Beauty aside, Staron is also kind to the environment. It can be reused, meaning the product can be taken from one application and recreated into a new project. This extends the lifespan of Staron creating less need for waste. The renewable and repairable nature of Staron also means that it will last longer and reduces the need of replacement.

It’s also non-toxic, creating an environment that is healthy for people, animals and the environment. These attributes have been recognised by Eco Specifier, who has awarded Staron with an approved listing.

Staron has also been recognised by achieving a Greenguard and Greenguard Gold accreditation, which means that it is a safe product for use in environments for sensitive individuals such as children and the elderly, and ensures that the product is acceptable for use in environments such as schools and healthcare facilities.

Staron also has a Recycled Series collection that contains pre-consumer recycled content. This collection has been certified by Scientific Certification Systems, a leader in certifying independent environmental claims, to recognise that it contains pre-consumer recycled content. By using recycled content, Staron helps conserve energy and resources, alleviates pressure on landfill space and reduces the need for transportation during certain phases of a product’s life cycle.
