Office furniture company Kokuyo’s Offset Frame chair designed by nendo suits a variety of purposes due to its enhanced mobility. It can be easily shifted, such as from the meeting room to open corridor spaces.
The chair’s signature metal frame was designed to deliberately misalign with its plastic resin shell seat. The frame offsets slightly at both sides to lend itself as a handle for easy repositioning.
As a result, the chair can be easily trailed sideways or carried around effortlessly. When not required, multiple units can be easily stacked or pulled out by holding onto the back of the frame structure that protrudes at an angle.
Eight different models with different frames ranging from arm chairs, castor chairs and single-legged chairs are available. There are six colour options for the shells, three colours for the frames, as well as detachable fabrics and leather covers for greater customisation.
