Designed and created by Urban Pad, the modern refurbishment – a daring update of the previous fit-out by Andrew Mitchell – incorporated an outdoor terrace and unisex toilets into the existing space.

“We wanted to capture the essence of Windsor in the design: edgy, colourful and urban.

“We collaborated with graphic designers Studio Equator to introduce whimsical images for lightboxes that took inspiration from local grafitti and tattoo art”, said Andrew Mitchell of Urban Pad.

Completed in November last year, the funky refurbishment focuses on creating a contemporary atmosphere where lighting is subdued, with a custom fitting designed by Urban Pad and manufactured by Haasch.

Green flocked Artemide Tolomeo Table Lamps add a neon focal point to the bar, whilst providing the much-needed focus-lighting for the bar team to rustle up their cocktails.

On the terrace, Tait furniture adds understated elegance to the new outdoor space featuring Jak and Jil bar settings, designed by Justin Hutchinson, whilst the living wall is a tongue-in-cheek nod to nature.
