Introducing Stormtech’s 120SCS, a multi-function linear drainage system with integrated shower screen support and unique dual-sided operation.
November 14th, 2022
In 1989, John Creighton helped design a new type of shower for a client who, though disabled and reliant on a wheelchair, wanted to be able to shower privately and without assistance.
The product that John came up with in response – which came to be known as a ‘linear drain’ – made it possible to design a shower without a hob. It granted the client’s wish, and effectively established John’s company, Stormtech, as a world leader in bathroom innovation.

Now, in 2022, Stormtech is at it again. The company’s latest offering, the 120SCS linear drainage system with integrated shower screen support represents another major step forward for bathroom drainage.
A unique multifunction system that facilitates dual-sided drainage (on either side of the shower screen), the 120SCS is suitable for wall-to-wall installation and can function as the bathroom’s sole drain.
A blessing for designers and plumbers alike, it delivers a sleek, uncluttered appearance, simplifies tile installation and generally expands bathroom design possibilities. To put that another way, the 120SCS linear drain improves flexibility without detriment to performance or functionality.
On top of that, the drain’s integrated (and unobtrusive) shower screen support – which works equally well with both wall-hung and enclosed shower-screens – ensures a simple, strong, and effective hold that can be relied upon to last over time.

Made from marine grade 316 stainless steel, the 120SCS linear drain is available in a choice of seven grate designs (AR, TR, TI, MND, PS, PPS, and PAS) and a range of colours to suit individual applications. Specifiers can choose between made-to-length units or, alternatively, the drain can be customised in terms of width, length, and outlet position.
With its patented design, the drain exceeds all Australian Standards and is WaterMark certified. It is available in Stormtech’s exclusive range of designer grates and tile inserts with natural stainless-steel finish, or a luxurious electroplate or powder coat.
A family-owned business with over 35 years of manufacturing experience behind it, Stormtech has always adhered to a philosophy that ranks things like ingenuity, innovation, and product quality as its highest goals; and asserts that, in the long run, these priorities will serve it better than short-term financial gain.
Adding to Stormtech’s range of state-of-the-art drainage products this latest product, the 120SCS linear drain, further solidifies the company’s standing as a leader in bathroom innovation.
