The Edith collection of chairs by Trabà is soon to be joined by a new member of the family, the Edith stool. The latest addition to the range follows the same paired back and refined design principles as the original, adding a new layer of versatility to the product.

The simplicity of form on the Edith should not belie its thoughtful and considered construction. Made out of timber, the chair curves in all the right places, with elegant tapering at the legs.

The sweeping backrest seen on the chair has been carried into the stool design, along with the same natural material palette, ensuring a sense of paired back but necessary design decisions. Warmth, tactility comes through in the material selection.

Functional and sincere in nature, the classic Scandinavian design of Edith is perfect for spaces large and small. Both the chair and the stool would be right at home in a mixed variety of spaces, its clean lines suitable in the latest café hotspot, or refurbished office breakout area.

The Edith chair, and now the stool, is a collaboration between Trabà and renowned Italian architect Massimo Broglio. Massimo works across a range of disciplines and scales – always bringing an innovative and pragmatic outcome to his designs.
