Custom Woven Axminster Carpet

Introducing the Custom Woven Axminister Carpet from Tattoo Dezign. Early Axminster carpets were more like substantial pieces of tapestry and were very different to the carpets of today. The craft has developed incredibly since 1755  with finished carpet now manufactured on high speed looms for shorter lead times.

With the invention of smart creel looms we can increase the number of colours available to add texture and depth to previous 2D designs.

Tattoo offers Axminster carpet from a low weaving quantity of 25 sqm and with short lead times this is an ideal option for many hospitality, pub and gaming venues requiring a traditional approach to their floor covering needs.

For custom designs our delivery times are 8-10 weeks and our designs are informed by the high definition Tattoo process we use for carpet on demand.
