Formerly an engineering group, GHD is, according to Marie, the perfect company to integrate the best in architecture and engineering.

With the goal of making the inroads with architecture and interiors, into the typically dry area of engineering, seem sexy, Marie is certainly making her mark.

With a background in architecture, business development, project and change management, Marie joined GHD in 2007, focusing on leading the new, unique A/E design model called Integrated Collaborative Design (ICD) here in Australia.

A registered architect, with a Bachelor of Architecture (Hons) from Melbourne University, Marie is one of the small number of women in the Australian architectural industry – but she is making an impact in a big way.

Delivering all projects to time, cost and quality targets, Marie’s impressive portfolio demonstrates richness and success in many and varied sectors.

Challenging the typecast of the male dominated engineering and architectural world, Marie is fast becoming known throughout the industry for her insightful, viewpoints and well-informed opinions crafted by fifteen years experience in these adjacent fields.

To the women who make up 50% of architectural students (only 10% of those enter the work force), this lady is an inspiration to say the least.
