An invitation to an exclusive showing of Fiber Evolution at SiD.
August 4th, 2010
During August Space Furniture will play host to Fiber Evolution, the travelling lighting installation by Marc Sadler and Foscarini.
Since its launch in 2008, Fiber Evolution has travelled to the worlds leading International design capitals – from Frankfurt to Paris, Cologne to Stockholm, Vienna to New York, and Valencia to Zurich.
And now Space has brought this tailor-made exhibition to Melbourne, to be launched from 6pm on Saturday 7 August at the Richmond Showroom.
The installation features key pieces from the Foscarini collection – Mite, Tite, Kite and Twiggy Lamps – stacked, grouped and combined in surprising and unconventional ways to create oversized luminous sculptures.
Visitors to SiD 2010 will be treated to an exclusive showing, but the installation will be on show until Sunday 22nd August 2010 at 629 Church Street.
