Creswick Woollen Mills are calling for donations to their winter 2008 blanket drive.
Creswick Woollen Mills are once again holding their annual blanket drive. Currently in its fourth year, the initiative aims to distribute over 5000 blankets ($200, 000 worth) to help people in need this winter.
Donations of unused and packaged blankets can be made, or for $15 (plus GST) Creswick will happily donate a blanket on your behalf.
The blankets will be distributed to a number of charities assisting the homeless including the Country Women’s Association (CWA), Victorian Relief Foodbank, Prahran Mission and the Lighthouse Foundation.
Donations can be made at any time during winter 2008. Unused and packaged blankets should be sent to:
Creswick Woollen Mills Head Office,
6 Roche Street, Hawthorn,
Victoria 3122.
