Specifying your next office fitout just got much simpler

Would-be competitors Wilkhahn and Teknion prove to be quite a team, streamlining the specification and procurement of innovative, sustainable commercial furniture.

Each in its own right regarded as a leader in the realm of commercial furniture design, Wilkhahn and Teknion have been allies in the market since Teknion showed the Wilkhahn AT and Occo chairs at NeoCon 2019. What brought the two together then was the brands’ shared commitment to design innovation and sustainability. This alignment of values has only strengthened since, and recently evolved into a new single-sourcing agreement between Teknion and Wilkhahn in the Asia Pacific and Middle East regions.

For project specifiers, this opens up the luxury of a more streamlined specification and procurement process, while keeping the long-established individual channels available.

“We are delighted that this agreement enables our companies to work together in these regions and are confident that this will bring new opportunities to both brands and tangible benefits to our market partners,” says Marc von Briel, managing director, Wilkhahn Asia Pacific.

Wilkhahn’s pioneering office seating, flexible workspace and executive conferencing solutions are internationally recognised as being among the world’s finest, complementing Teknion’s extensive product portfolio and own seating products. The combination of industry-leading products with an aligned commitment to sustainability and social responsibility has resonated well with customers in these regions and is the foundation for this new venture.

“This response to new and evolving market requirements for design focused high performance products also includes a focus on providing streamlined specification and procurement options with market leading service levels,” says Patrick Forget, managing director, Teknion Asia Pacific and Middle East.
