Something’s Rockin’ at the Office for Motion

Wilkhahn stands worldwide for some of the world’s greatest design. German designed and made, the brand has been making an impression on office design for six decades, and are continuing to step it up with the Metrik and Occo chairs.
The 60 year design journey of Wilkhahn continues to evolve as the office furniture icons offer high-quality workplace and dynamic conference designer works widely considered benchmarks for the industry, and Metrik is another step in this journey. The Metrik chair is a bold and fresh take on the classic cantilevered chair. Using state of the art manufacturing and design, Metrik stands apart in the office chair design world with its sculptural shape and contours, bringing to mind the precision of modern automotive design.
Designed by whiteID, Metrik’s polygonal spaces and rounded edges create a distinctive and form-fitting body, while the seat and the tubular frame are the same colour to underscore the integrated design and create a seamless look.
The highly awarded Metrik is just as striking as a comfortable desk companion, a colourful multipurpose chair in co-working spaces, as stackable seminar seating (with chrome-plated frame) or simply as a practical eye-catcher in canteens.
A choice of six colours for the body and frame and plenty of different options and colours for the covers, ensure huge design scalability. Metrik can be combined with various table concepts and office chairs and can be used to complement an overall design or purposely add a splash of colour to any space.
Wilkahn continues to drive office furniture into bold new spaces with the award-wining chair and table Occo range, first revealed at Orgatec in late 2016.
The familiar forms of an ‘O’ and ‘C’ can be read in the characteristic lines of the Occo chair’s seat and backrest. The rigid seat and exceptionally flexible back offers superb seated comfort and allows the chair to be stacked (when the optional chromeplated, four-leg metal frame is chosen).
Available in six shell colours, four types of cushioning and multiple frame types, there are a total of 72 Occo variants that respond to virtually all functional and design requirements.
The complementary Occo table range also provides a myriad of design options. Square, triangular, round or oval, coated, veneered, made of HPL or solid oak, on black, white or chrome-plated frames with glides or castors… there is no end to the functions they offer and moods they create.
