Lab.3000’s 2007 Best of the Best student design award winners
Victoria’s most outstanding final year design students came together on Wednesday 14 November to be awarded for excellence in design.
Lab.3000’s ‘Best of the Best’ awards evening saw over 80 design graduates – from the areas of industrial, fashion and communication design – considered by a distinguished judging panel for their outstanding design projects.
The judges commented on the high quality of work and the social and environmental consideration in the designs.
The award for Best Communication Design went to students Daniel Peterson, Samantha Austen and Jacqueline Diblasi, Best Fashion Design to Kevin Azzopardi, and Best Product Design to Joanna Szczepanska for her ‘VegiePatch’ (pictured).
With undoubtedly promising careers ahead, these graduate students may be the designers of Australia’s future.
