Tretford cord carpet was launched into Australia in the mid-90s by the Gibbon Group, a Queensland wholesale distribution house established by the Gibbon family in 1920.
Under the guidance of its director Ainsley Gibbon, the company has established a national presence for Tretford, recognising its uniqueness in look with its goat hair construction and distinctively exciting colour pallette. Tretford cord carpet has become central to the Gibbon Groupís focus on specialist interior finishes, which now include products such as contemporary furniture designed by Koskela and Ambro Luminate doors and panels.
