Haron Robson have been silently lighting our lives for over 23 years.
A master of disguise, Haron Robson has seamlessly integrated into our everyday lives for 23 years, lighting the offices in which we work and the major landmarks we visit. While we may interact with the company’s work on a daily basis, it comes as no surprise that many ask, “Haron who?” when meeting the brand.
“Our projects are actually very well known,” says Haron Robson’s co-director, Glen Haron. “A trip to Sydney city will quickly reveal the extent of our expertise and involvement in a wide range of projects.”
From the Smart Poles and Bus Shelters that line Sydney city’s streets, to the plazas at Martin Place and Circular Quay, Haron Robson have played an integral role in developing each space’s electrical and lighting solutions.
“You can find other major projects by Haron Robson at the Museum of Contemporary Art and on the historical facades at The Rocks,” Haron says. “Enjoy the ambience created by our lighting at The Hyatt, The Quay West and Quay Grand hotels.”
In addition to this, Haron Robson provided expert advisory services in lighting, audio-visual and data systems across numerous office buildings – including Coca Cola Amatil – overlooking Sydney’s Circular Quay.
“While Sydney is our home town we have also been involved in projects throughout Australia, the Pacific, the Middle East and Europe,” says Haron. “The role we play in these projects is to provide advice, designs and detailed documentation on anything with a wire in a building, public space, boat or plane with particular focus on the creative use of lighting and effective use of energy masterplans.”
Haron Robson also operates a specialist lighting design service under the name lightmatters¨, an energy advisor service under wattmatters¨ and audio visual advice under avmatters¨. “So, if you’re considering wattmatters, lightmatters or avmatters, think Haron Robson – ‘the light the power.”
