The line-up of events at this year’s State of Design Festival is epic but not insurmountable, says DQ Editor Alice Blackwood as she brings us her top picks of what to see and do.
We attended the launch of State of Design last night – unfortunately we missed the performance by the talented Body Electric dancers, but we definitely didn’t miss the crowds!
So the 2011 program is epic – but not insurmountable!
I’ve been checking availability on a lot of the key talks, such as Carolyn Steel’s key note address on food and urbanisation, and they seemed to have fast filled up.
But never fear, there’s still so much to attend!
