Designers Step Right Up – The Staron Design Awards Are Open

The Staron® Design Awards are back in 2017, for the ninth year running! The program is open to any designer, architect, developer, or student – so it’s time to get cracking!

The awards program focuses the designer incorporated use of Staron® Solid Surfaces in a project, fit-out, or build. The design awards program has been create to facilitate great exposure for students, designers and architects, as well as show off the versatility of Staron® in contemporary design.

Following last year’s heralded winners, the aim of the awards this year is to recognise and celebrate beautiful design at all levels – from a young designer’s vision, who creates concepts and ideas, all the way through to an experienced designer or architect with years of experience.

Submission for the awards is open from 1st May to 30th September 2017, across three categories…

Commercial: Any commercial or industrial project can be submitted for this major price, where the winner will take home $2000 cash plus Marketing Exposure.
Residential: Any house or apartment project can be entered here, and the winning submission team or individual will earn $1000 plus Marketing Exposure.

The program is, as always, joined by a respected panel of industry judges, this year helmed by Stephen Varady, of Stephen Varady Associates, Amanda Stanaway of Woods Bagot, and Indesign’s own, editor Sophia Watson.
