Watch: Going behind-the-scenes with Neolith

Plumes of smoke, delicate glassware and of course a captivating, textured backdrop of sintered stone – take a look at what it takes to bring an image to life as we go on set with Neolith.

There’s something voyeuristic about getting to see what happens on set to bring beautiful images to life.

On a recent shoot with Indesign and sintered stone brand Neolith, a whole gamut of professionals created a series of evocative images that capture the essence of the material.

Behind the camera was photographer Tim Robinson, while Lara Hutton styled each frame to perfection.

As a premium material designed with functionality and practicality front and centre, Neolith is a scratch, stain and heat resistant surface. Images explore a range of actions – fire and smoke, glass breaking, staining syrupy fruits and shadows – as a means to highlight the inherent qualities in an abstract way.
