Soothing calm also has a role to play in lighting design. This is why the ‘Sonic’ is not just an LED light with a consciously elegant design, but is also a unique sound absorber. The patented soundproofing element of its conical luminaire head is based on a specially shaped styrofoam carrier with hexagonal sound openings. The multi-layered covering of sound absorbing fabric and a woven surface not only provides effective noise attenuation but also exceptional visual impact. XAL shows that silence can be beautiful.
