Samsung Smart TV Launch – IDL
Published

Samsung pulled out all the stops to introduce their new generation of Smart TVs in Sydney last week
Guests were welcomed to The Event Centre at The Star in Sydney by characters from the brands current advertising campaigns.
Amidst all the sparkle, groundbreaking new features such as Australian accent recognition and an Australian-voiced speech function were launched, a world first, developed in Australia over 12 months by Samsung Australia and a linguistics team from Macquarie University. Also of note was the launch of the “expressions of interest” only UHDTV that is expected to fetch a retail price in the vicinity of $40,000 AUD.
In support of the event, impressive projections were created exclusively for the night by The Spinifex Group.
