Restaurant and Bar Design Awards

Totally independent, the UK and International Restaurant & Bar Design Awards now in its fifth year receives entries from the UK and world’s top architects, designers and hospitality operators. This year’s Awards ceremony will be held at London’s Farmiloe Building on the 12th September.

Followed and entered by the majority of interior designers, architects, lighting designers,
developers and operators involved in UK and global hospitality and architecture; the UK-based
Restaurant & Bar Design Awards now in its fifth year is one of the most influential concepts in
the world.

The Restaurant & Bar Design Awards will culminate in a grand and innovative Awards ceremony
at the Farmiloe Building, London on Thursday the 12th September 2013.
Our partners and sponsors believe that there is no better way to exclusively promote their
products and services and network with the most influential architecture, design and hospitality
decision makers.

Entrants
Entries come from all types of hospitality and architectural environments including hotels,
transport, business, industry, fine dining, education, leisure, healthcare, government and retail.
In the past four years we have had over 1700 entries from the UK and 60 other countries.
In addition to entries from all the UK’s leading hospitality-specific designers, we also have
entries from many other architectural sectors. Recent high profile entrants include Zaha Hadid,
Foster & Partners and Conran & Partners.

The Awards Ceremony
A unique event, strongly positioned on ‘innovation’ and ‘creativity’ and attended by over 400
of the UK and world’s top architects, designers and hospitality operators; the Restaurant &
Bar Design Awards ceremony this year will be held in central London at the end of September
2013.
Last year we were invited by the Royal Institute of British Architects (RIBA) to hold our Awards
event at their iconic headquarters in London. Attendees from the UK and all over the world
attended the prestigious event.
The ceremony was seen as one of the ‘funkiest’ events ever held at the RIBA.
